iSite is a Content Management System (CMS), created to support easier, smarter and richer work with web pages. In this lesson, you will learn what a CMS is, how iSite works and what it consists of.

Lesson 2: Interface Components
SmartEdit application is your main window into the iSite application and you will use it for creating your content. In this lesson, you will learn SmartEdit main features and the basic components of your iSite interface. Finally, you will login to the iSite system and learn how to search your website in the iSite database.
After this lesson, you will be able to:
- understand SmartEdit concept
- understand different iSite components (sections, regions and elements)
- login to the iSite system and open your SmartEdit application
